Hola from Brooklyn, I’m Isa!

I’m an Emmy-nominated and Forbes 30 Under 30 journalist, producer and host. I’m a proud first-generation Venezuelan American with a decade of experience developing, producing and reporting compelling video content for broadcast, streaming and digital platforms. Most recently, I was the youngest national correspondent to report in English and Spanish on NBC News and Noticias Telemundo.

My work has created impact. In 2020, I traveled around the country sharing the stories of young Latino voters for my series "The Youngest Bloc" on NBCLX. In Hartford, Connecticut, my investigative reporting revealed high levels of toxic chemicals in low-income school buildings and was nominated for an Emmy. My work with Dateline NBC led police to reopen a case after wrongfully convicting a single mother of murder.

My interests outside of work include ceramics, TikTok musicals and true crime podcasts! I currently live in Brooklyn with my husband, Alex, and my 7-year-old rescue dog, Pippa.
